Belair Flying People is the balloon company behind pilots Jonas Van Doorsselaere and Djorry Simoen. They would like to take you on a breathtaking journey through the skies in one of their hot air balloons and give you an unforgettable experience.
Both pilots have been passionate about balloon flight from a young age, where they were active as crew members in numerous balloon teams. Together they soon learned all the ins and outs of a successful balloon flight.
Already at the age of 16, Jonas began his training as a balloonist, and two years later, at the age of 18, he obtained his commercial license. This made him one of the youngest balloonists in Belgium. In the early years, Jonas was active at numerous companies as a freelance pilot. Over the years, this experience was converted into our own company with a fresh corporate identity, website and of course the first hot air balloon. Belair Flying People was born. Jonas currently has 20 years of experience as a balloonist and more than 1,500 flights in his logbook.
Since 2018, Djorry has also flew on a freelance basis for numerous companies for several years and joined the activities of Belair Flying People at the beginning of 2023 to offer customers an even better service in organizing our activities.
Together we strive for the perfect finish of our flights to not only pamper our customers, but also to allow the companies that trust our company to build a strong bond with their customers. In short, the ideal win-win situation!
The activities of Belair Flying People are not limited to Belgium! Both pilots have already made numerous balloon flights abroad. Countries such as the Netherlands, Germany, France, Spain, Portugal, Switzerland, India, Malaysia, Vietnam, Saudi Arabia, Indonesia, Finnish Lapland, … have no secrets for both passionate balloonists.
In addition to balloon flights, Belair is also specialized in renting out bouncy castles and attractions under ‘Belair-Fun‘.
